The 18th & Vine Arts Festival is committed to celebrating Black art and culture by providing a platform for established and emerging Black artists to showcase their work, network with fellow creatives, and honor the powerful impact Black art has on the world. We are proud to host over 70 creatives to showcase their art over the three day weekend.
The theme of the festival is Afrofuturism, described by festival organizers as a Black liberation movement where methods and modes of arts collide to create a utopian world through the Black cultural lens. The festival will introduce futurism to the 18th and Vine District while also remembering the area’s impact and historical legacy, and will be documented by PBS to be released later this year.
