~~Are you ready for the Fair? The Youth STEM Fair hosted by the Black Family Technology Awareness Association is FREE family friendly fun for all ages. There will be a live VEX robotics competition, see student built robots challenge each other in a timed game. Curious about Lego robotics? Come see displays and demos from local youth teams and find out info about how to join a team for the upcoming season. Vendor booths with interactive science and technology exhibits will be on display. Think you are interested in how to do computer coding for games, apps and websites? Check out our coding challenge, no previous coding experience required. Kids and adults will all be eligible for door prizes and giveaways. The goal of the Black Family Technology Awareness Association is to share our passion for Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math related careers, competitions, and skills with the Kansas City community to help close the digital divide.
