This is more than just a party, this event is symbolically a representation of women's resilience, emotional strength, and endurance when grappling with an insidious disease that has a devastating impact on myriad women daily, monthly. and yearly. (Portion of proceeds will be donated to the Breast Cancer Research Foundation).
According to Susan G Komen's foundation, Breast Cancer Awareness is more then just wearing Pink. Breast Cancer Awareness is about:
- Taking Initiative: Know your risk and become educated about Breast Cancer
- Donate: Donate financially to Breast Cancer Research or Foundation to honor a loved one or devise a fundraiser for yourself
- Get Involved: Participate in a Breast Cancer Awareness Race, Walk the 3 Day, or simply share your story of your undaunted mentality regarding grappling with Breast Cancer.
