Start the holiday season off with a cheer and giving spirit and join the National Congress of Black Women, Inc. - Kansas City Chapter at our 4th Annual Awards and Scholarship Black Tie Gala “A Celebration of Black Women: Still Rising, Still Thriving, Still Giving” on Friday, November 17, 2017 at 7:15 p.m. Honorees include: Christal Watson, Lonnie Bush and Nicki Jones. Guests will enjoy an evening of delectable dishes, an elegant awards ceremony and sensational music. Scholarship recipients will be present at the awards ceremony. The evening will begin with a courtesy cocktail reception with silent auction and book signing with Keynote Speaker, LaDetra White of Atlanta, GA. at 6:15 p.m. Complimentary garage parking will be available.
