Kansas City Friends of Alvin Ailey's Setting the Stage celebrates Black History Month with an interactive walk through African-American dance history performed by talented local and national artists.

Choreographed by KCFAA's Chief Artistic Officer Tyrone Aiken, Setting the Stage is interwoven into the broader tapestry of history and demonstrates the evolution of American dance styles since the Middle Passage.
