Panel Discussion: Understanding the Black Experience in America Through the Bible

Community leaders and panelists Corey Phillips, Dontea Canady and Gerald Israel will present views from the Scripture that will cover historical and present issues relating to the Black Experience in America. There will be an opportunity to engage in dialogue in order to make sense and contextualize the recent events in Ferguson, Detroit, Staten Island and other places involving police brutality, as well as Black on Black homicide. Christopher M. White will be the moderator of the event.
