Niles Home for Childen and The Wendell Phillips Neighborhood Association are proud to announce the 1st Annual Niles Home 5K Run/Walk on September 6, 2014. The 5K will start at Niles Home for Children, 1911 E. 23rd Street, wind through the 18th & Vine area, before returning to Niles Home. The entry fee for participation in the 5K is $25. The event is free for spectators. The event will include pre- and post-race ceremonies to welcome visitors to Niles and to the community. The Niles 5K will generate funding and awareness to help support Niles Home for Children programs that provide critical mental health and educational services to children within our urban core Kansas City community. |
