Keynote Speaker: Benita Ugoline - Greater KC Urban League
Benita Ugoline manages the Urban League’s Career Marketplace program, which provides career management and career transition services. Benita has 15 years experience as a career consultant and is an expert on topics including interviewing, salary negotiation, cover letter writing, and resume development. She is adept at helping candidates transfer experience from one industry to another and promote the transfer of skills from one functional area to the next. Benita is considered by clients as a self-marketing strategist who provides them with specific tactics to further their careers. Benita has written for and been quoted by The Kansas City Star and The Kansas City Small Business Monthly. She has also appeared on KKFI-FM radio. Benita has written a yet-to-be published book titled, “Think Like an Employer to Get Hired.”
