Outside of the performing artists, today, Conversation is entertainment. In fact, it’s KING! Take a look at the popularity of talk shows like Oprah, Tyra Banks, Wendy Williams and even radio shows with jocks Michael Baisden’s & Steve Harvey. The talk doesn’t end there. Social networks—Myspace, Facebook, Twitter and blogs are all the rage.
Everyone’s got an opinion and something to say. IGNITE provides a platform to talk it live, after all, a magazine keeps you informed.We take key figures and discuss a full range of topics from Religion, Sex, Politics, Careers, Finances and more. Sure, we’ll have experts onsite, but our core panelists represent professionals who work in front of microphone and reach the masses—MC’s. Therefore, comics, teachers, preachers, media professionals, and performing artists are the one’s you’ll find on stage. They automatically represent diverse backgrounds, perspectives and approaches to the “truth”.
The discussions are just a beginning, to engage the issue, not to fix it onsite. That’s where additional resources onsite and online come in to play.
